As part of its mission to foster entrepreneurship and skill development, Samarth Bharat, in collaboration with Bharti College, conducted two major events under the Bakery and Nail Art Training Programs – an Entrepreneurship Development Session on 23rd July, followed by the Course Completion and Skill Competition Ceremony on 26th July.
23rd July: Entrepreneurship Development Session in Bakery Training
On 23rd July, a special Entrepreneurship Development Session was organized for students enrolled in the Bakery Training course. The session was conducted by Mr. Prabuddh Taneja, Head Chef at Amma Café, who guided the students through an engaging PowerPoint presentation.
26th July: Course Completion Ceremony & Skill-Based Competitions
On 26th July, the first batch of the Bakery and Nail Art training programs at Bharti College reached a successful conclusion. To mark this achievement, a skill competition and certificate distribution ceremony was held.
Participation Highlights:
- 42 students competed in the Bakery contest
- 36 students participated in the Nail Art competition
The event served as a platform for students to showcase the skills they had acquired over the course duration. Students prepared and presented decorated pastries, cookies, and artistic nail designs which reflected their creativity and technical growth.
The competition was judged by a respected panel of industry experts:
- Mr. Mukesh Bhai Sahib, District Coordinator, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) & Bakery Entrepreneur
- Mrs. Jyoti, East Zone Head, Samarth Bharat; Chairperson of IESR Foundation; and a successful businesswoman
- Ms. Harman Kaur, Nail Art Trainer from Shashi Garden
Both events underlined Samarth Bharat’s commitment to blending vocational skills with entrepreneurial education, empowering youth, especially young women, to become self-reliant and employment-ready. The students left inspired and equipped not only with certificates but with confidence, clarity, and ambition for the future.
