A Free Dental and Eye Check-up Camp along with spectacle distribution was organized by the B.L. Verma Foundation at the Blind School located in Indira Camp, Begumpur, Malviya Nagar.
As part of the event, Samarth Bharat set up an information stall to raise awareness about its ongoing vocational training programs in the Southern and R.K. Puram divisions of Delhi. Community members were introduced to the various skill development courses available at the training centres and were encouraged to register.
The camp saw a footfall of around 150 attendees. As a result of the outreach and awareness efforts, 8 individuals registered for training at the Malviya Nagar centre—3 for the Beautician course and 5 for the Hair Stylist course.
Events like this help strengthen Samarth Bharat’s mission of reaching underserved communities and connecting them with livelihood opportunities through skill-based training.
