As part of its mission to promote skill development and women’s entrepreneurship, Samarth Bharat, in collaboration with Bharti College, Seva Bharati, and the IESR Foundation, organized a series of Certificate Distribution Ceremonies across Delhi in the month of July 2024. These events celebrated the completion of first and second batches of Nail Art, Bakery, and Cutting & Tailoring courses, highlighting the real-world impact of vocational education in transforming lives.
6th July – Grand Certificate Ceremony at Bharti College, Delhi University
Bharti College and Samarth Bharat celebrated the successful completion of the first batches of their Nail Art and Bakery Skill Development Courses. The program, which has positioned Bharti College as a model institution for applied skills training, witnessed participation from students, faculty, industry experts, and dignitaries.

Chief Guest Mr. Bharat Bhushan Arora delivered an inspiring speech on the role of skilled youth in building a stronger India. He emphasized the need to integrate entrepreneurship into everyday life and highlighted the economic potential of home-based businesses.
Principal Prof. Saloni Gupta of Bharti College praised the employment-oriented approach of Samarth Bharat and committed to supporting and expanding such initiatives in the future.
Principals from various Delhi University colleges were also in attendance and expressed keen interest in replicating these programs on their own campuses.
The event demonstrated the transformative power of skill training, blending education with entrepreneurship.
12th July – Certification at Shivaji Sudhar Camp, Kalkaji
A certificate distribution ceremony was held for the first batch of Cutting and Tailoring Course at the Shivaji Sudhar Camp, Kalkaji, jointly run by Samarth Bharat and Seva Bharati. A total of 20 trainees received their KVIC-certified certificates, recognizing their successful completion of the course.

- Ms. Kiran, Trainer from the Jamrudpur Sewing Training Center
The event focused on empowering underprivileged women by equipping them with practical, income-generating skills, enabling them to work from home or start micro-enterprises in their communities.
14th July – Dual Batch Certification at Shashi Garden Center
IESR Foundation in collaboration with Samarth Bharat conducted a Certificate Distribution Ceremony for the first and second batches of the Nail Art Course at the Shashi Garden Training Center.
- 15 trainees from the first batch and
- 12 trainees from the second batch
received certificates for successfully completing their training.
The event not only honored the achievements of the participants but also encouraged them to take the next step towards entrepreneurship, with support from trainers and mentors.
These events are not just celebrations of course completion; they symbolize a new beginning for many women who now possess the confidence and skills to become financially independent and self-reliant. Through structured training, entrepreneurial guidance, and community support, Samarth Bharat and its partners continue to create a meaningful impact on grassroots empowerment and social transformation.
