This was our first major initiative centered specifically on livelihood generation in economically weaker sections of society.

The primary objective of these camps was to identify individuals seeking employment, facilitate their registration, and connect them with suitable skill development and vocational training programs. Based on their interests, capabilities, and needs, candidates were guided into one of two core pathways: industrial skills training or the Apna Kaam(self-employment) initiative.

During the course of the campaign, a total of 30 employment camps were successfully conducted across different districts. Through these efforts, 476 individuals were registered—of which 205 candidates chose to pursue training under the Apna Kaam self-employment model, while 271 candidates enrolled in various industrial training programs. These encouraging numbers reflect not only the demand for employment support in these communities but also their strong willingness to become self-reliant through skill enhancement.

This initiative represents a milestone in Samarth Bharat’s mission to build an empowered, skilled, and self-reliant India.
