In a strategic effort to promote skill development and livelihood opportunities, Samarth Bharat, in collaboration with Seva Bharati, launched a special enrollment drive across six PMKVY (Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana) centers in Delhi. This initiative was undertaken following a meeting with the heads of these centers to address vacant seats in the upcoming training programs.

Each PMKVY center was mapped to its respective district and departmental jurisdiction. Samarth Bharat coordinated with Seva Bharati’s local Swavalamban Pramukhs, female supervisors, and trainers to execute the outreach. After explaining the objectives of the initiative, a ground-level action plan was jointly developed.

Our volunteers visited underserved communities, conducted door-to-door outreach, and engaged directly with local residents to encourage enrollments. Information about the campaign was also widely circulated through relevant WhatsApp community groups in each area. This innovative, tech-enabled, and community-driven campaign successfully filled vacant seats across the six PMKVY centers. Within just one month, Samarth Bharat facilitated the registration of 109 candidates, thanks to the active cooperation and groundwork of Seva Bharati volunteers.

This initiative not only showcased the power of grassroots mobilization and digital communication but also opened new doors of opportunity for young aspirants from marginalized communities.
