On the occasion of International Yoga Day, Samarth Bharat celebrated the event with great enthusiasm across all its training centers. The day aimed to promote physical well-being, mental peace, and a holistic approach to health among trainees and community members.
As part of the celebrations, members of the Samarth Bharat core team visited different centers to encourage participation and ensure smooth coordination. The presence of key team members made the day even more inspiring and meaningful. Their visits were as follows:
- Mr. Nikhil and Mr. Avneesh – Purani Seemapuri Center
- Mr. Shonal – Acharya Niketan Center
- Mr. Naveen – Sangam Vihar and Bhati Mines Centers
- Mr. Anantdeep – Choona Bhatti and INA Centers
- Mr. Rakesh Kumar – Roshanpura and Chhawla Centers
At each location, yoga sessions were conducted by trained instructors, covering basic asanas, breathing exercises (pranayama), and guided meditation. The sessions were tailored to suit all levels of participants, from beginners to advanced learners.
The participants included not only trainees enrolled in various skill development programs but also local residents, staff members, and volunteers. The event highlighted the importance of integrating yoga into daily life, especially for those engaged in vocational training and entrepreneurial activities, as it helps improve focus, discipline, and emotional resilience.
Many centers also hosted interactive sessions, where the significance of Yoga Day and the global recognition of India’s ancient wellness tradition were discussed. Informative posters, music, and even small yoga demonstrations by students added a vibrant and educational touch to the program.
The initiative by Samarth Bharat reflected its broader mission to foster holistic development, combining skills, wellness, and community empowerment.
